Client:  USACE, Sacramento District
Location: West Levee of the Yolo Bypass, California
Contract Value:  $8.6M

The Cache Creek Levee Reconstruction project involved rehabilitating seven heavily washed-out sites along the West Levee of the Yolo Bypass near Woodland, California. The Tepa team completed this sole-source award project within a 45-day deadline. Crews worked 12-hour days, seven days a week, to meet the deadline. The project required about 27,000 cubic yards of soil to be moved into and out of the site. During one five-day stretch, 32 trucks were used daily to haul soil.

Heavy machinery, including a grader and a bulldozer, works on a dirt road next to a waterway under a cloudy sky. Construction workers and additional equipment are seen in the background, focusing on building or repairing infrastructure in an open, rural area.
