Scotty’s Castle Flood Protection (DEVA 227682)
Roundhouse PBN, LLC was the prime contractor on this project that included the reconstruction of the flood protection infrastructure at the historic Scotty’s Castle District. The relevant scope of work consisted of repairing and installing seven new flood protection structures that included dikes, berms and concrete/riprap ditches to divert floodwaters away from the historic structures and visitor walkways. This included rebuilding the approximately 400-foot long gabion dike using rock-filled wire baskets located east of the Stables area in the main Grapevine Canyon channel as well as an access road.
