The Tepa Companies have supported the ‘Wish Upon a Par’ golf tournament since its inception in 2018. Our Tribe, the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, hosts the fundraiser through its Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation. As a tribally owned organization, Tepa continually works with tribal communities to support and raise awareness for their initiatives.

The day-long golf tournament hosted more than 120 golfers at The Links at Rolling Hills Casino and Resort in Corning, California. Proceeds benefit and raise awareness for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Northeastern & Central California and the Northern Nevada chapter and have raised almost $200,000 since 2018, supporting more than 30 families.

Tepa’s team teed off with Mike Dadey, Director of Corporate Talent Management; Zane Thomson, Business Development Coordinator and Connor Secrest, Project Manager.

“This is my fourth event, and it is always heartwarming to see the positive impact on the children and their families receiving the wishes,” Mike Dadey said. “Supporting the event is part of Tepa’s commitment to have a more active and visible role in the communities in and around Corning.”

This year, the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation granted wishes for six medically eligible children diagnosed with critical illnesses, including swimming with dolphins, visits to favorite theme parks, a dinosaur-themed playhouse and a family lake vacation.
