The Hangar Building 50 project included repairs to the concrete slab and restroom/locker room areas. The Tepa team removed sections of the slab and all of the unsuitable soils, constructed a new drainage system and restored the site with new, suitable backfill and concrete. The restroom/locker room renovation was completed while the facility was out of service for slab repairs. The team also constructed a new decontamination area and upgraded the fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
Tepa delivered this project in approximately 90 days by working multiple shifts seven days a week and making timely, accurate decisions as issues and challenges arose.
