Tehama Technical Services, LLC (Tehama TS) is a tribally owned 8(a)-certified small business providing environmental remediation and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) cleanup at sites across the United States. Our technical experts have a deep understanding of federal environmental regulations and deliver effective and compliant site restoration solutions, all while exceeding industry standard safety ratings. Our mission is to support federal agencies in their mission to protect human health, safeguard natural resources, and return impacted lands to productive and sustainable use. Tehama TS is a team of highly technical experts in environmental investigation, remediation, and military munitions response, supporting the needs of clients such as the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other federal and state agencies. Our core capabilities include:

• Environmental Remediation: Comprehensive site characterization and cleanup of hazardous waste and munitions-contaminated sites.
• Assessment, Investigation, and Analysis: Environmental assessments and investigations to define the extent of contamination and inform remediation strategies.
• Remedial Design and Remedial Action: Development of design specifications for cleanup remedies and implementation of those remedies.
• Long-Term Site Monitoring: Post-remediation data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure sustained environmental compliance and recovery.
• Monitoring Well Installation and Sampling: Design, installation, and maintenance of groundwater monitoring networks for ongoing environmental surveillance.
• Soil and Groundwater Remediation: Implementation of in situ and ex situ treatment methods to address contaminants and restore site integrity.

Contracting

The Tepa Companies support federal agencies through authorized contracting pathways, including the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program, when appropriate and in accordance with applicable statutes and regulations. As a tribally owned 8(a) participant, we help agencies meet mission requirements efficiently while maintaining strong governance, internal controls, and performance accountability.

Under 13 CFR §124.506(b), tribally owned 8(a) participants may be eligible for sole-source awards with standard thresholds of $25 million for civilian agencies and $100 million for DoD agencies. Awards above these thresholds may be made when the Contracting Officer determines a higher value is appropriate and documents the rationale in writing in accordance with the regulation.
