Nomlaki served as the prime contractor for the construction of a new 1,132-square-foot (SF) Camp 4 comfort station within Yosemite National Park. Camp 4 is a historic campground and is listed in the National Historic Register. Climbers of El Capitan have used this walk-in campground since the 1930s, and it continues to serve as a walk-in campground without reservations today. Because of the camp's historical significance, designing a facility with exterior features that complement the campground was important.
