The Tepa Companies are the prime contractor on a design-build electrical upgrade project that includes the upgrade of an existing electrical substation, connection to a new Western Area Power Administration grid. Tepa civil engineers provided design services for the project, including developing the design and construction phasing for the work. Tepa designed the underground trenches for over 2.6 miles of electrical and communication conduit and all foundations required for electrical substation components, switchgear, and solar array footings.
