Goshawk, LLC, a Tepa Company, Secures $14.5 Million Contract with NAVFAC Southwest

Kansas City, MO (March 12, 2024) — Goshawk, LLC, a Tepa Company, is thrilled to announce the win of a substantial $14.5 million contract with NAVFAC Southwest. This remarkable milestone marks the initiation of a transformative endeavor at San Nicolas Island, Naval Base Ventura.

 

The scope of the project encompasses the replacement of the subsea pipeline with a state-of-the-art 6-inch diameter schedule 80 carbon steel system. Crucially, this repair initiative will integrate seamlessly with the existing infrastructure at the relocated valve R-01 station. Among the project specifications are the implementation of a coating system, installation of a new cathodic protection system, replacement of the PLEM assembly, and provision of suction piles as subsea PLEM support. The pipeline installation will be facilitated via horizontal directional drilling (HDD), spanning approximately 1500 lineal feet to the proposed PLEM location. Anticipated completion for this endeavor is slated for November 2024.
