Client: U.S. Special Operations Command South
Location: Homestead Army Reserve Base, Florida

The Repair/Construct Multiple U.S. Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH) Projects Task Order #2 contract included six sub-tasks, from replacing doors to constructing new structures to installing a new air conditioning system.

The team performed the following sub-tasks on the Homestead Army Reserve Base in Florida:

  • Replaced egress warehouse doors in Building 600 (HQ SOCSOUTH) with security doors
  • Replaced covered, open-sided storage structure adjacent to Hangar 741, including new foundations, structure and roof
  • Installed secure storage enclosures in Building 314, including high-security, heavy-duty mesh partition walls
  • Installed air conditioning system in Building 315, which included two three-ton DX units
  • Installed 4,500 SF pre-engineered, metal-frame structure inside Hangar 741, including a new 12.5-ton HVAC unit
