The Tepa Companies are owned by the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians of California and Friday, September 23, is California Native American Day. This day provides opportunities to celebrate and learn about the traditions, culture and background of California tribes and the Native American experience.

As a tribally owned organization, the Tepa Companies take the responsibility to preserve and enhance tribal traditions and culture to heart, so on September 23, all full-time Tepa employees will receive a paid holiday.
